Each year, or each season, should have ONLY ONE submission.
Within the season submission, there are forms for the individual competitions of that season.
A new season is created by clicking [+ New Season], where the season name is entered in the "Comment" field, for example, "Year 2026".
Competitions are added to a season (submission) by clicking [Add Competition].
A competition form initially has the status "draft", which changes to "temp" (temporary) after it is saved for the first time.
Once the competition has been successfully entered, the [Completed] step must be triggered in order to publish it. Publication is immediate and the competition becomes visible through the API.
The distribution of a competition is determined by the status of the competition form, which must be "completed".
The competition status can be changed by clicking the action menu for the individual competition form. No other status distributes data to the API (draft, temp, sent, pending, deleted).
A competition is distributed independently of the submission status; only the "completed" status on the competition form is relevant.
As long as the season (submission) has not been locked, it is possible to temporarily or permanently remove an individual competition from distribution. This does not require deleting the form; only its status needs to be changed.
Temporary suspension should be performed by clicking [Suspend], which changes the form status to "pending".
Permanent suspension is performed by clicking [Delete], which changes the status to "deleted".
A competition can be returned to distribution from the "pending" status by clicking [Completed].
